Nordic Edtech Alliance

Nordic Edtech Alliance is a partnership between Nordic Edtech communities and actors. The aims of Nordic Edtech Alliance are to support and profile Nordic Edtech internationally, where the Nordic values of Equality, Democracy, Quality, Motivational Learning and Efficiency are at the core. The goal is to attract Nordic and International investors to invest in Nordic Edtech companies and to build bridges to international markets for Nordic Edtech companies and suppliers. The Nordic Edtech Startup Award is NEA’s first cooperative initiative.

Nordic EdTech Award is organised by Nordic Edtech Alliance.

Marie Claire Maxwell 

Head of Tech and Start-Up Lead, Asia Pacific, Business Sweden

Marie was Senior Consultant at Cloudberry Communications back in 2014 and served as a Member of the Hong Kong Chamber of Commerce in Sweden.  As a  Mentor at SUP46 (Start-Up People of Sweden) Marie has guided multiple startups since her involvement with several start-ups in China ranged from business development to sales and account management.

CEO Icelandic Startups

Being the CEO of Icelandic Startups, Salome has been fostering the Icelandic startup ecosystem by supporting entrepreneurs and startups accelerating their ideas and leading startup hubs abroad. In 2016 Salome was selected among the 100 most influential people within the Nordic startup scene by the Nordic Web.

Linda Liukas 

Author and illustrator of Hello Ruby , Founder of Rails Girls

Linda is the author and illustrator of Hello Ruby, a children’s picture book about the whimsical world of computers translated to over 22 languages, as well as the founder of Rails Girls, a global movement to teach young women programming in over 270 cities. Currently she is a TED Resident in New York.
